Where Donahue Got It Wrong
I believe that Donahue got the most important aspect of his theory (the AR-15 head shot) right, but I disagree with his conclusion about the timing of the first shot, and the Single Bullet Theory (SBT). Considering the limitations that Donahue was working under (before ARRB released additional documents, before Warren Commission and HSCA and other testimonies and exhibits were freely available on the Internet, before the work of later researchers, and before other resources like YouTube), one can hardly blame him for giving the Warren Commission the benefit of the doubt when it came to the SBT, and for believing the Zapruder film to be an authentic piece of evidence. If Donahue had had all the Internet and other resources now available, he might have changed his mind about his conclusions concerning the time-frame for the first shot, the number of shots, and the Single Bullet Theory.
