The Donahue Theory
There are several aspects to Donahue's theory. I believe he made some mistakes. For example, his belief that the Single Bullet Theory (SBT) could have happened (from a ballistics point of view) doesn't mean that it did happen that way (and indeed many witnesses, including the Connally's, believed that Kennedy was hit with the first shot, and Connally with the second). However, Donahue's conclusion that the explosive head shot was caused by the accidental firing of the AR-15 rifle from the Secret Service follow-up car is just logical to ignore.
It's not my intention to deal with the Single Bullet Theory or all the evidence supporting Donahue's head-shot theory on this website. I recommend reading Mortal Error by Bonar Menninger and JFK: The Smoking Gun by Colin McLaren. And, of course, my own book The JFK Cut-N-Paste Assassination. In the meantime, I do offer additional "finds" and rebuttals to criticisms of Donahue's head shot theory on this website, and describe Donahue's head-shot theory briefly.
